Pedro Grijalba Marsans is admitted to the Bar of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and specializes in public international law and investment arbitration.

Prior to joining the firm, Pedro served as Legal Counsel at the Argentine National Directorate of International Affairs and Disputes within the Treasury Attorney General’s Office, where he contributed to the legal defence of the Argentine Republic in complex, high-profile investor–state arbitration proceedings. His work involved cases administered under major arbitral institutions such as ICSID, the PCA, and the ICC, related to Argentina’s energy sector, public concessions, and social security system. He also assisted in sovereign litigation involving Argentina before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York and the Financial List of the High Court in London.

Pedro has also a strong experience in international public law and has notably trained at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), where he assisted the Secretariat in conducting legal research and supporting member States in the ongoing discussions of Working Groups II and III.

Pedro graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a specialization in Public International Law and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which he completed as a Chevening Scholar.
